The Office for National Statistics had a specific role they wanted to introduce for a Deputy Director, Digital Publishing. We at ThirtyThree felt it would be best to target the campaign specifically through social media. We began by creating a Facebook page which would tease about an exciting position becoming available in the next week, with a Twitter account set up also pushing the promotion, with tweets which also teased with reductive messages.
After this build up phase, we refreshed the Facebook page with a more compete design which told people about the role and included an infographic animation which I storyboarded and animated.
The campaign was a great success, with some big names getting in on the retweeting. It also went on to pick up a CIPD award for Best use of Social Media, and became a bit of a template for future roles deemed relative for use.
