With the opportunity to create a new careers website for the Met Office, I got the chance to lead the design.
With new a new employer value proposition, I knew it would be important to get some of the key values across the website, not just through body copy, but jointly using rich imagery to make the messages pop out. So throughout the site I pushed for small 'hero' bars to sit at the top of each page to contain this.
I also new the Met Office has some amazing history and are full of interesting statistics, so I wanted this to be shown throughout the site also. This time sitting above the footer acting as a piece of interesting to help end the page.
