It was at Oakwood where I had the chance to create the identity for the brand. The client approached Oakwood wanting a name, logo and identity created to set up an independent cafe, in the heart of Winchester. After meeting with the client, it was clear they wanted something which not only highlighted the quality in food and drink they would be providing, but with a key focus around a 'meeting place'. After several concepts I came to the conclusion of 'Eat, Drink and Be'. A name which hones down to the core ethos of the business; homemade food, great coffee and being together. Then designed with a quirky little bee character to compliment the owner's as well as a hook to base the design on.
