Clarks were on the hunt for new designers to join them. I joined with copywriter Candida Williams to create an ad which would have the creative appeal needed to attract the very best in shoe designers.
One of the biggest perks about working for Clarks was it's brilliant on-site facilities, from having traditional Last makers to on-site 3D prototyping. So we encompassed all of these into one unique illustration combining photography, illustration, texture and typography with an overiding message.
We pitched this by creating a moodboard in a similar style, and by cutting out the elements and sticking them on top of each other for a real sense of 3D.
I worked on developing the design through to final, creating versions for print and animated online advertisements, as well as creating a Pinterest page, a first for Clarks, and possibly employer advertising.
The results were a success too - Clarks filled nearly all their positions directly due to this campaign.
