Eat, Drink and Be was a brand identity created for a new coffee shop opening up in Winchester. With the retail space purchased, and an idea of the direction the owners were headed, we were tasked at Oakwood to come up with a name, brand and identity.




I came up with Eat, Drink and Be after realising that their three core principles of quality homemade food, great coffee and a place for people to get together needed to be distilled into the three simple, and bold, statements. Using the addition of a bee added a quintessential quirky English feel, to tie the brand together, and make it memorable. This resulted in fitting out the whole shop, and other literature, with the brand identity.
